"Julia, tonight Kairos is hosting a farewell party before he leaves for Italy. He invited me, you, and Bella to attend tonight."

Edward deliberately contacts Julia by phone. Yesterday, he forgot to inform his wife about the event Kairos would be hosting.

"A party? Tonight? Quite sudden. Besides, I might be coming home later than usual today."

"So, you won't be able to make it?" Edward asks to confirm. Deep inside, he prays fervently that Julia won't be able to attend. That means he would have the chance to go with Bella.

"I might not make it in time. Besides, I'm not sure if Kairos really wants me to attend...
