She furrows her eyebrows at me in question, looking at me so strangely that I cringed under her strict scrutiny. I just admitted to her that she is my mate and she is waiting for me to explain what I meant by calling her, my mate. I am not ready to share my secrets with her, it just slipped out of my mouth and now I don't know how to get out of this situation because I just made it worse.
