On the day Ariana walked out of the medici home. Lucas wasnt himself but he let her go.

As soon as she walked out, Maria turned to face him in rage, her eyes were the mirror of pain and sadness.

“You promise me, child,”she growled out in pain.

“Don't you dare, you had no right to embarrass me like that, in front of them, you spoke out of turn and brought forth something so uncalled for,” he growled at Maria who stepped into the office.
