The bass from the music vibrated through my bones as Jax led me through the private entrance of Velvet Chains.

The club was nothing like I’d imagined.

Dim red and gold lighting, black velvet drapes, the faint scent of leather, musk, and something darker — pure sex. Soft moans and the sharp crack of leather against skin drifted from hidden rooms. Elegant people in masks and expensive clothing moved through the space like predators, some collared, some holding leashes, some simply watching.
