I knew I was lost.

There was no more pretending I wanted to escape or win the game. I wanted to be his. Completely. The thought of going back to normal—sneaking touches in the hallway, quick fucks when Mom was out—didn’t feel like enough anymore. I wanted him to own me in the daylight too, even if we had to hide it. I wanted him to fill me up and leave me dripping for days. I wanted to carry the proof of what we were doing.

Mom was coming home tomorrow.
