LILA’S POV**

The aftercare was almost more overwhelming than the scene itself.

Jax carried me from the bench to the large, plush couch in the corner of the private suite. He wrapped me in a soft, warm blanket, then disappeared for a moment only to return with a bottle of water and a small plate of chocolate and strawberries he must have prepared earlier.

He sat down and pulled me into his lap, cradling me against his chest like I was something precious.

“Drink, baby,” he murmured, holding the water to my lips. His voice was gentle now, completely different from the commanding Dom tone he’d used during the scene....
