Aria POV
The morning light streamed through the curtains, soft and golden, but I couldn’t feel its warmth. I sat on the edge of the bed, my fingers pressed against my stomach, tracing the curve that had grown heavier with each passing week. My thoughts were loud, crashing against each other, and my wolf was restless, pacing inside me.
The door opened without a knock. Kael stepped in, his presence filling the room like a storm cloud. He didn’t say anything at first. His eyes went straight to me, then down to my stomach. My heart lurched.
