I stepped out of the car and approached the massive iron door, my brow furrowing as I noticed something strange—it had no handle. Baffled, I ran my hands over the surface, searching for any sign of a latch, button, or anything that might open it. But there was nothing.
How did brother-in-law get in? I wondered, my confusion growing. Out of frustration, I kicked the door hard.
To my shock, it absorbed the impact in complete silence, not even a dull thud. But the pain that shot through my leg was immediate and sharp.
