I thought he would hate me or say it was my fault as well.

Thank God he found out what happened anyway. I don't think I had the heart to say what happened in front of him.

You may be wondering why some women don't report these things. Well because not all of us are lucky enough for them to believe. Most of us are blamed and victimized instead. The system that's supposed to help us only marginalizes us. 

The people you are supposed to call for help, do not help you. The abusers and assaulters get away with everything. Well, that's how I see it.
