After battling with my thoughts for a while, I concluded that there was nothing to lose. After all, Scarlett's father was an influential man and I could always get what I want. There was nothing to think twice about. My father was just being paranoid.

Besides, there was no going back now. I had come too far to quit. I went to where I and Scarlett usually meet since that was the location she gave me, I got there before her.
