As soon as Derek’s lecture ended, Karina scampered out of the lecture room before anyone else and headed straight to the Director’s office.

After a number of turns, she eventually arrived at his office and without a moment’s hesitation; she let herself in after a brief knock on the door.

She sighed softly when there was no sight of the secretary on the seat. She proceeded into his office when his voice suddenly filled the air.

“Who’s there?”
