"Veronica, you really need to calm down" Stephen said, getting into his car.

Veronica also got in a shut the door in a loud bang, she fastened her seatbelt and angrily tossed her purse randomly on the backseat.

"I can't believe you and your friend, you're both cowards" she gritted out and breathing heavily, her chest rising and falling as she fumed in anger.

"Cowards? How?"

His eyebrows knitted together in a tight frown and confusion flooded his face as he doesn't seem to get what she meant.

"You just sat there speechlessly and couldn't even speak for yourself in front of your ex-girlfriend..."
