The next morning, Darren stared at the beam of the living room with a small satisfied smile worn on his well-outlined face that emitted a resplendent glow under the first ray of sunshine.

His hair fell all about on his face in a mess as though he had a fight with a wild animal overnight. Well, of course, this would be true since he'd battled with a "wild cat" over night.

' Or is it a wild wolf?' He couldn't help but lampoon at the thought.
