My phone’s ringtone triggered me out of my shallow sleep.
As my eyes furiously blinked until they were open, I failed to reason why I was sprawled on the couch until I sat up.
Grace was yet to back from wherever she headed after walking out with a soul draped in sorrow.
I was about to drown in my worries when the device in my hand cried persistently and begged to be attended to. With haste, I adjusted my phone and hoped that she was the one calling.
A look at the screen and it turned out that it wasn’t her.
But I picked up the call anyway.
“Hello?”...
