"For Primigravida, it takes fourteen to twenty hours to pass through labor but it varies for different women. Some might give birth less than the fourteen hours while some, more than the expected duration which is 'twenty hours' because it is their first time" The gynaecologist said.

"But in her case, her labor contraction is preterm and which is precipitated by physiological stress and probably, it might not be a true labor" She added.

"So, what could be the outcome if nothing is done?" I asked.

"Well, if she goes through this persistent and unattended pain, she will eventually give birth and...." The Doctor demurred.
