"But Daddy promised me that he was going to take me to the ranch today" Beverly complained yet again

"Sorry Mama, I'm sure he must've forgotten" I tried to console her.

" He will take you some other time" I added.

"Are you sure?" She asked as she looked at me with a tint of hope.

"I'm certain" I replied.

Truth be told, Beverly isn't the only one troubled that her Dad ditched her but I'm also concern as well .

Since Anthony left in the morning, he's not returned and this is so unlike him. The place is soon going to dusk....
