It has been almost 2 weeks since Elena’s accident, and she still has not woken up. Her MRI scan this morning showed the swelling on her brain having gone down, so now it was technically a waiting game. She was breathing on her own now at least and has shown signs of early responses to light and touch. But that was about it.
