"You're definitely not going to believe what happened." I said as Samuel poured some content of the beer into his glass.

"Well, I think I'm ready to believe anything." He murmured.

"Not this, believe me."

He smiled. "Alright, just tell me then. I'm in suspense already." He said sarcastically and I felt offended.

"Why did you use that tone?" I inquired.

"What tone?"

"You were trying to mock me?"

He gulped down the beer and dropped the glass on the small table. He seemed to be trying to be cheerful. "Mock you?"
