"That's okay, Daemon!" Dr. Taylor finally spoke after a really long while. "We need to stop and rest, Daemon!"

"We don't have much time,Taylor." Daemon growled from the front seat. "We are already a day late, and we don't know when next they are going to attack. We don't know if Kieran Masters has turned against us..."

Dr. Taylor's muscles ached. She had been cooped at the backseat with Lilian for almost three days. They hadn't stopped to rest or even relieve themselves. Daemon believed they could hold themselves in for a little while...
