Two Hearts.

“Where have you been, Lilian? Where is your father?” Daemon sat on the porch of the house in the early hours of the morning staring hard at Lilian, who was coming back home— absentmindedly.

She looked disturbed as she trudged towards the house. Daemon frowned as he saw her demeanor and carefully lifted himself off the floor.

“Lilian…" He reached out to her and pulled her into him.

He felt what she felt— Desolation. What happened? Why was she so detached from her immediate surroundings?

“Are you okay?” He shook her slightly, jolting her back to reality.
