The fire cackled at the side of the dark room and the bright orbs floated steadily around the room. Everywhere was quiet for a long while before a crash was heard outside the door.

"About time..." One of the orbs hissed in a snake-like voice. "We've been waiting for far too long."

The door banged open and a young boy stumbled into the house, almost falling on the ground.

"Careful, Abel." Another orb cautioned him. "How many times have we told you about rushing? It can lead to a fall!"

The boy bowed low to the orbs and replied shakily. "They are here....
