“What do you think of her plan?” Wilder asked with a straight face, his hands in his pocket as he strode in step with Daemon. “Will it work out?”

Daemon did not reply for a few seconds as he checked his watch, and when he replied, he completely ignored Wilder's question.

“Has anyone other Alpha reached out to you?”

Wilder sighed at his response and shook his head. “Only three Alphas have shown interest so far.”

“Apart from Alpha Callow, who else?”
