I’m staring at Rylan, watching him as he slowly starts to come around. He’s still groggy, looking like he got hit by a fucking truck, but at least he’s breathing. Thank god for that. I run a hand through my hair, trying to shake off the tension that’s been clawing at me ever since I pulled up to Nina’s territory.
“Rylan,” I grunt, sitting beside him on the couch. “You good?”
