Valerie opened her eyes and what she saw now made her exhale in disappointment.

She had again survived death but, still, could not avoid fate.

"What if Arthur comes? He must be laughing because the death failed." Valerie looked up at the white sky of the hospital. Suddenly the creak of the door opening was heard again without Valerie having time to close her eyes.

Arthur managed to bewitch her and instead scared Valerie as the footsteps approached her with a gaze as sharp as his eagle.

"I'm sure you weren't happy when you woke up because your suicide failed...It's a shame that you survived the accident." Valerie was silent...
