Jace's pov

When my eyes peeled open, I had to squeeze them tight back because the direct sunlight was piercing them.

My body felt numb tho, but I was able to push myself up when I looked around. My gaze held hers. She flashed me a sweet smile, the one I'd never seen on her face before.

Judging from her looks I guessed I didn't hurt her last night. A fragment of the memory from last night still played in my head so I could vividly remember how weird I was behaving the previous night.

It was as if I was being intoxicated and that made me lose...
