“Mother, you shouldn't have done that.” I gritted my teeth, and gently left my mother’s presence.

A deep breath resonated from my mother’s side. When I glanced at her, I saw that evil grin plastered across her face and the mug of tea in her grasp.

When her gaze craned with mine, she hurriedly but eloquently brought the mug to her lips. Even while drinking I could still see that she was hiding behind the cup, to express herself.

I saw it—all the evils sparkling—and I wondered who this woman was.
