Jayden pov

"No! This can't be happening?" I gritted my teeth in rage. "No!" my scream rang, and tension shook everywhere.

But no one was paying attention to me. They were all scurrying, fighting for their survival while they left me behind with my mother. Even my uncle was no one to be found.

' Coward!' I cursed Inwardly at my uncle.

Everything happens so fast and just now, one of the assassins stood a few inches away from me and my mother, setting his bow and arrows.  Confidently, this person posed, dragging the arrows backward, targeting my mother.

I sprang up, throwing myself up in the air...
