My mouth falls open in shock. I can't believe Zane would agree to an arrangement when he already has a girlfriend waiting for him somewhere. At least it doesn't sound like he was suffering from breaking up with me, even if it was Alexis who was in his pack in my place. If he was already holding another woman, it meant he had resigned himself to the fact that we were no longer mates. Gorgio told me that he and Alexis had rejected each other before she left Midnight Moon.
