The next day, Eric was a bit calm and looked sort of thoughtful. We usually had breakfast with the old Alpha and Luna before now but he stopped.

“I'll be eating with your parents and our kids this morning. Will inform the chef to prepare what I love.”

“Really?” I was shocked and didn't believe him until he grabbed me by the wrist and led me towards my parents’ apartment. I was thrilled, wondering if he really wanted to do this. The distance to the west wing was long, I wondered if he really wanted this long just to eat breakfast.
