Emerald black 

 

I whimpered in pain, it been only about three hours into my heat and it just seems to be getting worse. I have managed to cross the river but I still haven't seen my  mate. He is the only one who can take this pain away from me. 

 

I had no other options, either mate with my mate or wait for death to slowly take me away. I remember the words of penny the old witch, how the heat will reduce my life span if I don't mate with Rain immediately and also attract other male wolves to me.
