The garage wasn't huge—maybe enough spaces for a couple dozen cars—but it was secure and private. I looked at the car key I'd picked up for the first time and saw what I was looking for. It was a BMW key and it looked new; no visible key was showing but I assumed it had one of those emergency keys inside the remote somewhere, I pressed the unlock button and I saw lights flash on a vehicle by the exit gate.
