On the way home, Mark picked up a couple of friends for Emily, aware his daughter would be bored being surrounded by daddy's friends, while she hadn't met any of Cindy's friends before. Arriving home with three giggling little girls, Mark asked them to behave when more adults were around, but they were free to mingle as he didn't want his daughter not to feel welcome in their home.

"I'll be good, Daddy," Emily stated, hugging him tightly, before she walked over to hug Cindy too, "Are your friends coming here soon too?"
