I found myself smiling on the train back home, noticing my reflection in the glass. The lady opposite me noticed and smiled at me. "Just visited someone?"
"Yeah. Guess she might be my girlfriend soon enough."
"Ah, young love. I remember those days."
We ended up chatting all the way to Altrincham, particularly once she noticed my accent and I was inundated with plenty of questions. She stayed on the train, though wished me well for the future, which was nice of her, walking back to my grandparents from the station, walking in to smell...
