I was half dragged, half carried over to the side door that led out to the alley. As soon as one of the bikers opened it I was shoved outside. I cried out as I landed hard on my hands and knees, scraping them. I turned over into a sitting position in time to see the two bikers lift Mark off his feet and literally throw him out the door. Mark landed hard on his side and slumped over onto his back. Mark's chest was heaving and his right eye was completely shut. I crawled over to him and took his hand.
