I learned quickly that, if these were ex-army or something, they'd forgotten half their training. Though careful when entering the apartment, as soon as they thought it was empty, they relaxed. Far too quickly. Recognising they wore no vests, putting a couple of bullets into each of them was far too easy. Moving quickly from cover, I put a bullet in each of their heads, checking they were definitely dead, before doing the usual checks for identification. No surprise they carried empty wallets.
