Tatiana's eyes widened, her nostrils flared, and her jaw tightened, but she didn't step forward as her hands automatically slipped to her blades.

"We're just going to talk. There's no need for a confrontation," Dr. Granger said quietly.

Ben appeared in the doorway. His eyes locked on Tatiana's.

"I've just about had enough of your attitude. Am I going to have to take your knives from you again?" he said with quiet menace.

Doubt, need, and confusion flashed by in Tatiana's eyes as she saw the resolve in Ben's.

"Come inside and sit down," Ben continued calmly.

Tatiana stiffly moved forward, and Ben stood aside, but his eyes never left...
