Hot tears filled my eyes and all I could feel in my heart was pain and regret. I felt like dying. I considered ending it all, and I was ready to die. There was nothing to lose.

It was far better than being alive, especially when you would have to watch everyone and everything you love being destroyed.

My eyes moved down to the lady lying on my chest, and that got me yelping as the years finally dropped.
