Sky was about to spit lemonade from his lips when Ford suddenly appeared, crouching at the pool's edge. Sky sat back and enjoyed the cool ten o'clock air as he drowned his feet in the water.

"You had to be surprised like that, huh?" Ford said back as Sky was busy catching his breath. Having a fucking friend like Ford should have Sky drowning the guy by now, but he gave him a flat stare. "What?"

"I was surprised that you showed up all of a sudden. What if I get sniffed to death? Are you ready to be a suspect?"
