Those were the few words I hung onto as I waited patiently for the alpha to come into the room. I hope all goes well and the plan is carried out exactly like I hoped it would.

If anything goes wrong, as slight as a change in mood, word or gesture then the guard will end up dead and so will his mate or pregnant. I don't want such a thing for me as I've lost my own mate thanks to my foolishness and cowardice.
