Max's POV
I couldn't feel my legs anymore after only a few minutes of running. I had gotten so exhausted that I had to mentally cut them off. Moving in this daze of hunger was even more difficult than I had imagined.
I felt like I was going to drop down soon but surprisingly, less than halfway through my first run, the mental weight on my head disappeared. Moving on suddenly became easier so I kept on moving, and moving.
'Maybe I will be able to complete this punishment without passing out after all', I thought to myself but quickly reminded myself that it was too early to judge on...
