Lucas nodded, his eyes fixed on Emily's unconscious form as she disappeared into the emergency room. He placed his hand on his hips tiredly, as the accident flashed in his memory.

Lucas had been walking down the street when he saw Emily running frantically through the crowd. He called out to her, surprised, but she didn't stop. So he ran after her, curious about what she was running from, and shouted her name again.
