I watch her closely. There’s something about the way she moves, how her fingers nervously brush her hair back as she picks up that journal. Keith gave it to her. I don’t like it. It’s not that I don’t trust her, but the idea of her being close enough to Keith to accept something like that is just ridiculous.
Still, as I look at her now, I can’t ignore how worried and worn out she looks. She looks so exhausted and I hate it. I want to take that burden from her, but...
