I don’t say anything at first, I just stare at Imogene. I keep my expression neutral, but a frown still crosses my features. Keith. The guy who almost ruined everything. I trust Imogene, I do, but the thought of her working closely with him again stirs something dark inside me.

She’s watching me closely, reading my face like she always does. “You don’t have to agree,”

I shake my head, forcing a smile. “I’m fine with whatever you decide.”
