“Thank you.” I say to Damien as we both step out of Scott Luxuries.

The final decision for the takeover bid hasn’t been made yet. The board members are making their votes and it’ll be announced later tonight. Damien assured me that we’re getting the company back but one part of me can’t stop thinking on the negative side. And even though I’m really grateful to him, it changes nothing.
