I cock my head. “Keith?”

Fiona nods, her voice trembling. “He... He planned all of this. He needed Imogene to believe you had a son with me. He knew she wouldn’t marry him unless she had a reason to move on from you.”

I take a step back, my mind reeling. Keith planned this? Keith? The man who just proposed to Imogene, the man she thinks she’s in love with, orchestrated this whole lie? So he could trap her into saying yes?
