quietly she opened the door .

and peaked out . she couldn’t believe that she was actually doing this .. in all those years she had spent .caged in and treated like some wild animal ,she never thought of something like that not until that thickheaded blind boy appeared .

feeling her knees and hands shake as she tried to control her breath walking over to the fire alarm .

ok .. she prayed with eyes closed as she tapped on it . and the alarm went off . not as loud as she expected it to be .but it was loud enough .
