"Go to bed, huh? Don't try to have your dad wait for us to come back here."

I was covering the blanket all over Emi's body. She was still looking at me as if begging. He saw that I was serious so he gave up.

"Where did dad go?" He asked.

I looked around to hide my doubts. "Maybe someone just bought something important,"

"But there is no open store," he replied, sadly.

I approached her and gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Don't worry. I'll look for your dad. We'll tell you later, okay?"

"But please .."

"Sleep. Promise, we'll tell you your dad."...
