"Will you go out?" I turned to the door and saw my mother adjusting her robe, it was only ten o'clock and I know it was quite strange to see me wake up so early on a Saturday.

"Hi mom, yes." I walked over to her and kissed her on the cheek. "Christian invited me to watch the Sox game."

"Oh, I like Christian, he's a good boy." I nodded smiling and she began to twist the belt of her robe nervously. "Do you want me to make you breakfast?"

"How about pancakes and a fruit salad?" I asked and she smiled softly....
