It's been hours since I last spoke to Mateo, and I couldn't get my fucking off of him, and I hated that. I hated the control he had over me.

It was almost morning, it was about 5 am, but I was up thinking hard about Mateo’s last question.

What he asked last night before Ethan stepped into the house.

“How much do you trust your husband?”

I wonder why he asked that question, such a question is crazy, and something must have triggered it. Surely.

I thought deeply as I kept staring at the chandelier dangling and I looked back at Ethan deep in sleep beside me....
