We'd spent the day lounging around at home, me avoiding him most of the time, until he'd decided that he'd had enough of it. And after an hour of back and forth, he finally managed to get me to come on this random adventure with him. Reluctantly. And I made sure he knew how unwilling I was by taking an extra thirty minutes to put on a simple dress. I didn't even do any makeup. Didn't put in any effort.
